Key Responsibilities
- Installation and configuration of vCenter server 5.5, ESXi5.5 hosts’ in large environment on HP BL 460C &Cisco UCS B Series Blade servers on both protected and recovery sites.
- Experience on configuring the FI, vNIC & vHBA etc.
- Experience on Disjoint Layer 2 network technologies & its design in UCSM.
- Experience on configuring, Managing & troubleshooting the Boot from SAN.
- Perform zoning on Fiber Channel switches & troubleshooting on switches such as Brocade/Cisco/Mcdata.
- Good Understanding on UCS components (2nd & 3rd generation) configuration on Design & best practice.
- Basic knowledge on network/Storage & End to End architecture with UCSM.
- General provisioning, build, patching, decommissioning process knowledge.
- Hands on experience on UCS servers and VMware Monitoring the alerts through V-Centre/ UCS Manager console Providing Level 2/3 support for UCS Servers and VMware Raising TAC with Cisco/EMC/VM ware.
