Job Title: Back Office J2EE Professional

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Back Office J2EE Professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining efficient, reliable, and scalable Java-based applications to support our back-office operations. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analysing requirements, designing solutions, and implementing high-quality software solutions using J2EE technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using J2EE frameworks.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and other team members to gather and analyse requirements for back-office systems.
  • Translate requirements into technical specifications and create detailed design documentation.
  • Develop efficient, reliable, and scalable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications to ensure high performance and functionality.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Work closely with QA teams to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of applications in various environments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience (X years) as a J2EE Developer or similar role, with a strong understanding of J2EE technologies and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Java, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, EJB, JPA, Hibernate, and other J2EE technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with web services (SOAP/REST), XML, JSON, and related technologies.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), design patterns, and object-oriented design principles.
  • Experience with database systems such as SQL, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in J2EE or related technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or React.
