Job Summary:
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our cloud infrastructure, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud-based systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure following best practices for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for cloud provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud resources, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system availability.
- Implement and maintain security measures and compliance standards for cloud environments.
- Evaluate new cloud technologies and tools, providing recommendations for enhancing infrastructure and services.
- Contribute to documentation, guidelines, and best practices related to cloud architecture and operations.
- Assist in planning and executing disaster recovery and backup strategies for cloud systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2 years of experience in cloud engineering, with proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using tools like Python, PowerShell, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Deep understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure as code (IAC) principles.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication skills.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Professional Cloud Engineer are advantageous.
