Job Summary:
As the Lead Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing our cloud infrastructure and strategy. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our cloud architecture to meet the company’s evolving needs, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will provide technical leadership and guidance in the adoption of cloud-based solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management skills required. Must be able to lead a team of Cloud Engineers
- Develop and lead the cloud architecture strategy, aligning it with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and architects, providing guidance and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, propose solutions, and drive implementation timelines.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies, tools, and services to optimize performance and cost-efficiency.
- Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and governance for cloud-related initiatives.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits of the cloud infrastructure to ensure compliance, security, and efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement by staying updated on emerging trends, methodologies, and advancements in cloud computing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (5 years) in a senior cloud architecture role with expertise in designing and implementing cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
- Extensive knowledge of cloud technologies, including but not limited to virtualization, networking, storage, and security.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in leading and mentoring teams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset to address complex technical challenges.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.
