Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Storage Consultant specializing in VxBlock, vScale, and VxRack environments. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in day-to-day administration activities, monitoring performance, capacity management, and implementing best practices to ensure optimal functionality of storage systems at customer sites.
Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day administration activities at customer site(s) to support VxBlock, vScale, and VxRack environments.
- Monitor performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to capacity management, ensuring systems operate efficiently.
- Utilize and manage tools such as Vision, UCS Director, and DCNM to streamline operations and enhance system performance.
- Manage and maintain UCS (Unified Computing System) and Dell Servers environments for seamless integration with storage systems.
- Proficiency in ScaleIO and VMware environments, ensuring proper configuration and alignment with storage solutions.
- Implement and adhere to best practices in VxBlock, vScale, and VxRack environments for optimal system performance and reliability.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (2 years) working with VxBlock, vScale, and VxRack environments in day-to-day administration and support activities.
- Proficiency in monitoring performance metrics, capacity management, and implementing best practices in storage systems.
- Strong knowledge of tools such as Vision, UCS Director, and DCNM for efficient storage system management.
- Experience in managing UCS and Dell Servers environments to complement storage solutions.
- Expertise in ScaleIO and VMware environments to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Dedication to implementing and following industry best practices for VxBlock, vScale, and VxRack environments.
